He's been called crazy, unique, fun loving, a renaissance man, and other things not fit to put in writing on a public site. Whatever you call him, when you find out he was born on the Virgo/Leo cusp, it all makes sense. Holding degrees in Legal Administration, Mass Communication, and Political Rhetoric, but continually pursuing interests in the arts including ballet, singing, acting, and poetry writing, Mathew has developed a persona that is precise and logical but quirky and sometimes over-the-top. Mathew's various talents have landed him several TV spots and commercials along with various modeling opportunities. Always one to exercise his creative gene, his interest in photography, fashion, and make-up was first sparked when he began a project combining his poetry with visual images to create a book for friends and family. Hired by Septien Entertainment Group in 2004 as Director of Artist Development, he put his unique abilities to use creating marketable images for upcoming artists. Mathew's education and experience combine to make him a photographer and stylists with a certain knack for creating unique images that capture the artistry and personality of those he photographs.

Award Shows on TV offer so much fodder!

American Music Awards (2008)

Award Shows on TV offer so much fodder for the soul!  From Fashion to performances what’s a critic to do????

One word really sums up the red carpet fashion…BORING!!!!  Could silver have been any more overused!   My favorites of the night, by far, Pink’s lavender dress for the performance of “Sober” (wasn’t it appropriate that an apparently unsober Scott Weiland introduced the performance!) and Alicia Key’s very understated navy blue gown and clutch.  That’s all I have for that.

Performances were another thing all together.  Let’s just say you can really tell who has it and who doesn’t when an act is forced to perform live.  In my opinion, Jonas Brothers, while fashionable, need to stick to produced vocals in the studio!

New Kids on the Block, hmmmm, more like old men on the corner.  Time to put that act to bed.  I think they know this.  They looked just as uncomfortable performing as the audience did listening.

Taylor Swift really confused me.  Was she lip syncing the first part…Was I the only one that noticed her lips weren’t with the music??  Then when she stood and took the wireless she appeared to finally sync up with the music…Hmmmmmm,  Still scratching my head on that one.

Beyonce’…Woo Hoo…loved it.

Annie Lennox…The Best.

Mariah…Mediocre

Miley Cyrus..WTF was that.  Wet cat in a paper bag.

Pussycat Dolls, I really hate that a generation of young girls aspire to them. Guess this means there will be a run on stripper polls at christmas. What’s next…Stripper Barbie????

That’s all I got for now!
